Panic began to rush through Alice as she jumped away from the creature. She looked over to Bri, then above at Cass. She could careless about the banter going on, at the moment all that mattered was getting to Leon and away from these creatures. "Well, this certainly got interesting."

Things quickly went from bad to worse as a growl sounded outside of the pool of light the torch provided, then the creature came into view. "Well, that's not good." He said as he hesitated only to quickly look over his shoulder at the running footsteps. Bri had been tackled, clearly having been tackled to the ground when she attempted to go after Leon. Damian took a step towards them with the intent of helping Bri but things became significantly creepier.
The child seemed to switch between two personalities, the creature that had growled spoke and attempted to herd them towards the child. Damian frowned and unravelled the chain from around his wrist again just in case.
Suddenly the shadows rushed away, revealing the entire room and a quick glance up revealed just how gruesome things were. Damian looked up but quickly looked down again, an expression of disgust on his face. It was a good thing, however, since the wolf chose that moment to target him and lunged.
"Shit!" Damian cried in surprised and took a couple of steps back to create distance before he lashed out with the chain. He'd only unravelled enough so that it was useful in the confined space, but left him with a lot less than he would have liked at that moment in time.

"Ah, hell," Mako growled, drawing her katana. Pistol would be less useful here when she couldn't get to a position where she had a range advantage. "Hey, you, new person, Cass! Any ideas? This is your crazy land, right?"

Cass doesn't look back as they charge forward towards the bird, shouting back, “Not exactly! I've never beaten it!” Then the add. “Bri, right? What blonde bad ass said still counts...! Direction...!” They then jump as a board begins to collapse below their feet, the bird's head dropping down to snap them out of the air, Bri gasps as the bird now bares fangs in its beak. The blue haired teen ends up landing in the bird's mouth, grabbing onto a tooth and tugs at it.
“Oh my god! Uh... oh...um...” Bri looks around before nodding to herself. “Mako! You still got your gun?”
The wolf stumbles and slashes out for the nearest player before charging at Damian again. Its body ridged with blood lust.

There had to be a weapon around she could use, at least that is what Alice kept telling herself. Back home she was able to just use her body to fight. Kicks and punches weren't going to help with this giant bird though. "Does anyone have a weapon? If you aren't gonna use it, at least give me one!" It wasn't even aimed at anyone, just as long as somebody gave her something.
The wolf slashed at Alice while she wasn't paying attention and Alice stumbled backwards, just being missed. The brunette panicked and kicked at the wolf quickly, hoping desperately to not be caught.

Damian grinned as the wolf stumbled but it was short lived as the thing lashed out at Alice, just barely missing the girl. "Sorry, kind of using mine at the moment!" Damian said as he lashed out with the chain as the wolf charged at him again. He hoped that the chain would wrap around its neck but with how big it was he wouldn't be surprised if it didn't accomplish much.

"Here," Mako yelled, handing the katana to Alice as she pulled out her gun. She took aim at the bird, frowning. "What's your pplan, Bri?" she yelled.

Bri frowns, "Hold off your shots until that person is out." She instructs as she ducks the flailing bird trying to close its mouth on the rather resistant Cass. "Then shoot its head... a lot."
The chain manages to catch the wolf around the front leg as it stumbles back, snarling from the well aimed kick to its snout. Crouching it prepares to lung for Alice now. When it does its with jaws wide open.

Alice grabbed the katana out of the air and looked around her, looking for any sign that something is going to lunge at her when she notices the wolf. The wolf went forward and Alice slashed. The blade landed and dragged across the wolf's eyes. As much as this seemed like an accomplishment, there was still the feeling of dread in the back of her head. The wolf was down but not out right now.

Damian was glad when the chain wrapped around the wolf's leg. It wasn't what he was aiming for but he would take what he could get. When the wolf lunged for Alice, Damian pulled fiercely at the chain even as Alice swung the katana.

Mako growled, her eyes flicking between targets. Cass was still trying to get out of the grip of the bird, so she quickly directed a trio of shots at the wolf before training her gun back on the bird, waiting for Cass.

A pained howl echos in the room as the slash is given to the k-9's eyes. The wolf is grazed by two bullets and hit in the opposite leg from the one Damian is yanking on, the hit draws a little black blood. The sound of chains alerts the wolf to Damian's where a bouts and the yanking pulls it forward. So it moves itself towards him, slashing.
"Gotcha!" Cass's cry of triumphant comes from the birds mouth as their thrown from it and skids a crossed the floor with an "ow".
Bri nods to herself. "Alright. Now."

Remaining focused on the wolf, Alice lunged forward with the katana and brought it across the side of the wolf as it turned to pay attention to Damian. "Kinda have it on a leash there, don't you?" Alice joked, bringing the katana across the back legs of the hound, trying to incapacitate it. Anything to bring it down.

Damian's eyes widened and he moved quickly to get out of the way. He didn't quite make it as it managed to graze his leg, causing him to bleed, but he managed to escape the brunt of the blow. He quickly positioned himself to the side of the hound and tugged again as Alice cut it across the back of the legs. "Oh yeah," He said after her leash joke. "Now if it would just behave. Bad dog!" At the last sentence he tugged hard again when it was paying the least attention to him, hoping to pull its leg out from under it.

Cass gets back their feet, smiling, "Alright... Got it again...!" They look up to see the bird flailing and coming crashing down towards them. "Oh shi-" Cass tenses before the air is knocked out of them. Bri's body replaces theirs and the bird slams into her. The red head screams and, instead of being smacked around, she falls to her knees and screams more. Her hands clutching her head. Cass regains their balance. "No. Not another one...!" But they have to jump away as the bird flails towards them.
"Fyi. Bird touches you and you're infected with your worst nightmares...!"
The wolf growls before snapping onto the chain, chomping and tugging at it.
---
A giggle echos beyond the wolf's snarling, "Oh boy. Looks like they're in more trouble than Boss hoped..." A girl bounces just past the threshold to the room. "Good thing we're here... How about we help~?"

Humming is heard above the group as a boy with white hair hums loudly. He's carrying a boy covered in blood, cuts, and bruises. This boy is Leon, quite obviously in pain slightly suffering.
"Hi there! Nice to meet all of you. We have a delivery for you, I think he should be your friend. Do you want him? Here you gooo! Sorry, we were a little rough with him." He calmly lets the body drop from him. As he jumps onto the back of the large bird.
"Well...this one certainly sounds displeased."

"And just how would you know that?" Alice glanced over at Cass. She didn't notice her get hit or anything.
While Alice continued to slash at the wolf when the humming began and Alice looked up, a strange white haired boy with Leon in his arms. As happy as she was to see Leon was okay, this new character obviously didn't want to help that much, considering how nonchalantly he dropped Leon.
'Just keep the wolf preoccupied.'

As the wolf chomped onto the chain and pulled Damian did his best to keep a hold on it with just one hand since he still had the torch in his other. If the others were right, then it was only his passive abilities keeping it lit right now and he didn't like the idea of that light going out even if it wasn't as dark as it used to be.
At the sound of new voices Damian looked in surprise towards the source where he saw the girl and then some white-haired kid holding Leon. Leon was clearly alive but not in good shape. When the boy dropped Leon he cursed but couldn't exactly get to him in order to help. "Mako, go get Leon!" He said even as he allowed the wolf to take the chain from him. The moment it unwound from his wrist he rushed forward with the torch and swiped the flaming object at the wolf's face.

"Got it!" she called, leaping forward and catching him before he collided with the still-screaming Bri.
"I gotcha," she said quietly to him. Seeing his wounds, she winced. Her arms and back stung in sympathy pain - he was really chewed up, and she hoped he'd make it through. Luckily, he was still breathing. "Don't worry, newbie kid. I gotcha."

Still trapped in her nightmares Bri begins to cry, whimpering to herself from fear. Cass quickly crosses to her, lightly touching her before jerking away. "Ah shit." Then looks to the bird. "Seriously. You're gonna die now." And then grips the cane in their hand tightly. They run at the bird's flailing body, cutting at its legs. The bird regains balance and is trying to shake Zane off with angry caws. "iNSaNiTY The weight of the air is torture PSYCHoPaTHY Don't know who I am anymore iNSaNiTY The illusion of ignorance CaPTiViTY Why don't you take a chance?"
The wolf stumbled back far enough to be just out of the flames reach. Upon which Jazz sighs and grabs its tail, drawing its attention, "Come one stupid mutt. They aren't worth your time~." She yanks before letting go and skipping away from the slashing claws. "Oooooh, aren't you just a clever puppy. Come on, c'mere~." Her staff is at the ready to fight now as well.

Zane sighs as he looks to everyone and then the bird he is on. "Man...it's really loud in here. That poor girl. Well, there's no point in keeping her in that bad dream." As the bird bucks around, he takes off his halo, lightly throwing it at Bri. It slows in mid air and then floats over her head as a calm and soothing light falls over her. The halo then falls onto her head with a light thud.
"Morning, It's not very good to sleep while standing, and if you scream like that, people will worry about you. I digress. I don't know if you guys can really handle two at once, so I'll do you guys a smaaallll favor okay?" As the bird bucks to and fro, he jumps backwards onto the floor before looking at the wall behind the nice birdy. He gives it two firm taps before nodding, jumping up into the air, and off of the wall to propel himself like a missile into the back of the bird. As the bird falls down, feathers flying loose, he sits on top of it as it squirms.
"Don't worry, I'm wayyy too heavy for it to move me. I'm pretty solid. I won't kill it or anything though, we can't have that. That's all on you guys. I do suggest not touching it though."

Damian was concentrating quite heavily on the wolf while the others took care of the bird and what was going on with Leon. They had their parts to play in this and he had his own role. The wolf leapt out of the way of his torch but at the same time it was quickly distracted by the new girl. When its attention was focused squarely on the girl he came forward with the torch with the intention of pressing the flaming end to its side. If he were able to get his chain he might have tried to strangle it until it fell unconscious but that was not the case at the moment.

With the bird down Cass turns to face the wolf, but it seems pretty well handled. So they cross to Bri instead, holding out a hand to her, "Morning sunshine." Bri stares before looking around, confused.
"Wha... What...?" ... Is going on?
Cass shakes their head and points over to Leon, "You should probably- Alright, run off then..." Bri rushes to Mako and Leon's side, panic evident as she leans down to look him over. Cass sighs and shakes their head. "Girls."
The wolf meanwhile is hit with the fire, the bullets missing the target due to is jerking away and howling with pain. Meanwhile Jazz had to dance out of the way bullets, she's still hit though. Her face dead pans.
"I see that moving targets aren't your strong suit," She walks up to the wolf, her staff in her hands is glowing with light. "Let me show you how to do real damage." She then smacks the wolf with the glowing crystal, light burning it and the part she hit burns away with a searing light.
"Light beats Shadow after all." The wolf bits at her, but she swings again, slamming into its head this time. "Down mutt!" This time the effect just burnt away flesh, leaving the skull behind and an empty eye socket. She then jumps away as it regains itself, the chain dangling uselessly in its jaws.

Leon moves and writhes in pain. He groans and the look on his face is pained. He's having a nightmare as he is muttering under his breath, but it's still very hard to hear him with all of the commotion.
Zane looks at Alice and nods. "Well, There are two obvious choices. Shoot it in the mouth, or cut it's head off. Of course, that might prove a little difficult. You should-"
He cuts off when he sees his partner. He sighs to himself before he stands up, snapping his fingers as a net of light falls on the bird, keeping it pinned. He calmly starts to walk over before he looks at Bri for a moment. "He'll live for now, but you should probably get him some herbs. Use a yellow leaf inside the wound, and wrap a green leaf around it. Prevents infection and speed up healing. Chew the yellow leaf first, it increases it's healing properties. Don't worry, the leaves are huge, one of each should do for all of him. As for his nightmare, you can't wake him up, he fell asleep outside of the inn, and he was pretty exhausted, so he's going to be sleeping for about two hours. His nightmare won't end until he wakes up anyways."
He walks past her and past the wolf. The wolf snarls at him and he simply stares at it as he walks past it. When he gets to Jazz, he pulls out a red glowing object from his pocket before he lets a red light shine on her, healing her wounds. "You can't let yourself get hurt ya know. It isn't anyone else to know what color YOU bleed."

Alice looked over to Damian to see his reaction to what he was going to do and follow his lead. Whether these two were the 'villains' of the game or just mischievous was unknown. Regardless though, she still held the katana ready, she wouldn't let it out of her grip until the lines were clearer.

At Makoto's cry Damian nodded and kept his distance after his strike to be sure that he wasn't hit by any wayward bullets. Unfortunately, the wolf wasn't hit since it jerked away in pain seemingly at just the right moment. In another moment the woman's strike burned away some of the wolf's flesh to reveal bare bone. Damian was surprised to see that when the strange boy walked past, the wolf didn't even try to attack and only snarled.
It certainly sent alarm bells through his head and Damian held his torch at the ready, watching the pair even as he grabbed the chain from the wolf's jaws. He did his best to ignore Leon's groans of pain in the background for the moment, something that was not even close to easy. "Just who are you guys?"
He didn't trust them. Something was off about them.
