The Art of Leveling Up
Character Levels aren't gauged like in a traditional video game or role play manner, instead their leveling up mainly matters on what your character does and me, the admin, trusting you the role players to be constantly honestly with me. Leveling up is a very loose and simple art. While one may increase skill stats like strength, wisdom, or speed by doing mundane tasks the actual “Leveling Process” is quite different. First off there are three main levels based on your Elements, three main levels based on your Class, and three main levels based on you Fearscapes. Each one accounts for what is considered the “Official Leveling Up” process. While there are “Stat Levels” as well. These can be increased by, once again, doing mundane tasks, although very little increases at a time and can only be done twice per day, or completing missions from the job listings, which are moderate increases at a time and can only be done once per day unless otherwise specified.
First, lets review the Classes and what they naturally excel at.
Strike Class
Strength is really high – what they lack in defense they make up for in their powerful attacks, moderate in speed even though they are always the first to strike, and defense is really low.
Strive Class
Strength is moderate, speed is highest stat, and defense is moderate.
Stability Class
Strength is really low, speed is moderate, defense is high - what they lack in strength they more than make up for in their tank like bodies.
At their core base the classes are made to reflect the beginning personality of a person, even if they train to get higher in one area or another its highly recommended that you focus on their higher stats than anything else. You may be wondering how you increase defense with out having an element or money to purchase armor. The answer is simple, but risky. Stability Class has the hardest time leveling up due to the fact your defense gets better with the more hits you take. Now onto how to raise each stat.
Prior to Getting Your Element/s...
Strength
You can have mock fights with a partner in which you practice your fighting moves, you can walk around the market place in the Land of Beginnings which doesn't raise your stat all too much but is usefully [especially if you're already injured], or, in a group of at least three mind you, you can take on low level Glitches. The more times an attack of yours hits, the better off and stronger you'll become, but, be warned, many a player often gets too cocky and tries to level on their own at this stage, its highly not recommended.
Speed
Sprinting or running around the edge of the Land of Beginnings, race NPCs in bets but be sure you are faster than them for you do not want to loose whatever you bet, climbing to the top of the information tower in the center of the Land of Beginnings, or leading the charges for the group training battles with Glitches [or maybe the retreats if you guys get banged up too much]. Remember, these are just some suggestions.
Defense
Being the sparing dummy for your strike class friends while they practice [painful, but efficient], defending others or taking a hit for them [sometimes players get rowdy, might as well spot the fighting, right?], or taking most to all the damage during a group training battle with Glitches. These really aren't suggestions, rather the main options for increasing defense naturally.
While Gaining Your Basic Element/s
The following is a quick rundown of what stats will change depending on your elements. Please note that these are based off of the base states written above.

NOTE: Resistance to status effects don't come into play until you get your Advanced Elements and even then there aren't many whom actually HAVE resistances. So... Good luck.
The Fearscapes
When you beat your fearscape you will immediately gain all the experience you wracked up, explained later on, which can be used to increase stat or stats depending on the experience amount [you may not be able to increase at all]. Regardless, depending on your class you will get a little bonus upon completion, read further down to find out how you get your elements post beating your fearscape, that will be a money and small stat boost depending on your class.
Strike
Large amount of money, strength increases
Strive
Large sum of money, speed increases
Defense
Large amount of money, defense increases
NOTE: While you will gain these prizes immediately after beating the fearscape, only upon encountering the Elementalist NPC will you gain your elements and additional stat changes. They don't appear in the same form for everyone and aren't always very approachable this is dependent on how well you managed to beat your fearscape. The only known appearance was when a player calmed down and though their way out of fear, thus the Elementalist showed up as a sweet little girl bearing gifts of shining crystals and a bag of money. Other interactions haven't occurred yet and therefore are unknown at the current time being.
Jobs and Missions
Each Job and Mission will have the what is needed to do it and what you will receive as a result. Many are stat changes and money for the lower level ones. Higher ranked jobs yield more money and products including weapons or armor. I will not go into deep detail here, rather there will be a thread for just Jobs and Missions .
Defeating Glitches
Remember that experience only goes to the person whom takes down the Glitch, not the whole party.
The Beach and The Desert Glitches are 5 points of experience each
The Land of Beginnings Glitches are 10 points of experience each
The Forest and The Plains Glitches are 20 points of experience each
The Shattered Kingdom and The Desolate City Glitches are 40 points of experience each
The Deep Jungle Glitches are 60 points of experience each
The Volcanic Region and the Mountain Range Glitches are 80 points of experience each
Defeating Boss Glitches
The Boss Glitch for the Beach is 100 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Land of Beginnings is 125 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Forest is 150 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Plains is 150 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Desert is 175 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Shattered Kingdom is 175 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Desolate City is 200 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Deep Jungle is 225 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Mountain Range is 250 experience points split among the group present
The Boss Glitch for the Volcanic Region is 250 experience points split among the group present
Leveling Up
How you gain new abilities through your elements and stronger attacks. You can also level you your armory and weaponry three times before they're maxed out. Each armor and each weapon has different levels where they start and finish, they also help add to your defense, speed, and strength. This is all based on experience as listed how it can be obtained above. Below is the levels listed in order from “rock bottom” to “God-like” for each stat.
Strength
Level 1: (Base for Stability Class) Newbie – Not very strong. Not very... anything...
Level 2: (Base for Strive Class) Greenhorn – Hey! Look. You can hit things and they feel it now.
Level 3: (Base for Strike Class) Rookie – Did you see that wolf? It winced when you kicked it, keep up the good work, Rookie.
Level 4: Neophyte – Oh, you think you're a hot shot now? Not even. See that Giant Spider? Yeah, squishing those is a pain.
Level 5: Trainee – Now we're beginning to be able to talk trash. Just, don't do it to something that can understand you... Like that Falcon [the Glitch, not Speed Level] over there.
Level 6: (Final Level for Stability Class) Disciple – Honing your skills is one of the smartest things you could do. Now. Uses that ability to go take on a couple Land Sharks.
Level 7: Champion – Woot! Alright! You're getting there. Now. Go the Forest. Go, go. Fight the Boss there. But, be warned, the Inverse there is still probably stronger than you guys.
Level 8: (Final Level for Strive Class) Master – Alright. We're almost to the top. My suggestion is to go and see if you can bead the Desolate City now... Watch out for those heads though.
Level 9: Legend – Man. Look at you! I can't believe you made it this far. Alright, now. You should either go lava or ice... whichever sounds better for you...
Level 10: Ares – Like a little God of War yourself, the other levels pale in comparison. Have fun bashing things.
Speed
Level 1: (Base for Stability Class) Spider – Small, but fast. Have you ever seen a spider sprint? They often stop though, probably to catch their breath...
Level 2: (Base for Strike Class) Mouse – Mice. Fast little suckers, but still pretty average.
Level 3: (Base for Strive Class) Rabbit – Being able to book it is a good thing... Good thing you're on the way there.
Level 4: Wolf – Hunting in packs means you have to know how to match other's speeds, thankfully you've got this down at least somewhat.
Level 5: Hawk – Ever sky dive? Hawks have, and they often catch their prey with their talons wide open.
Level 6: (Final Level for Stability Class) Cheetah – Bursts of speed that can reach up to sixty miles per hour. Nice. Although a little too fast. Lets just say you've gotten fast.
Level 7: Falcon – Before you say this a downgrade, hardly. A driving Falcon is ranked up there with some of the fast animals, but they stay consistent.
Level 8: (Final Level for Strike Class) Whirlwind – Is that a storm brewing? No, that was you?! Well. Looks like you got faster, congrats!
Level 9: Twister – The funnel of a tornado... is a scary place, because its scary fast...
Level 10: Lightning [also called Nightfury] – Breaking the sound barrier would be a little too intense on the human body. Thankfully, you're part of a game. Just remember, with great speed comes the need for really good reflexes.
Defense
Level 1: (Base for Strike Class) Eggshell – Practically just looking at you causes bruising, let alone you taking a hit.
Level 2: (Base for Strive Class) Glass Figure – Easily broken, although not as fragile as an egg.
Level 3: (Base for Stability Class) Rolly Polly – Able to take some hits, but bruising and broken bones are still likely.
Level 4: Lizard – Able to take hits and maybe a couple small slams into a wall while walking away with few bruises and/or broken bones.
Level 5: Armadillo – Lets just say these guys could be used as a soccer ball and get out alive, dizzy and probably a little wounded, but alive.
Level 6: (Final Level for Strike Class) Steel Eggshell – You can definitely get whacked around and thrown into walls, plus your pain threshold has got to be getting pretty high by now.
Level 7: Cockroach – Resilient as heck, almost always getting back up, survivor of bug killers and shoe stomping alike.
Level 8: (Final Level for Strive Class) Bullet Proof Glass – Pretty self explaining. But... Bullets may hurt like heck, thankfully they won't always wound you.
Level 9: Diamond Cockroach – Making the ordinary Cockroach look like easy pickings, very few things cause you damage, and when they do you have the intelligence to get the hell out.
Level 10: Armadillo Dragon – Nearly impenetrable. Only your Achilles Heel would effect you greatly. You can go head to head with the Ares Level if you really wanted to... But who wants to be punched by one of them, right?
NOTE: After gaining your Basic Elements every thread you've encountered Glitches in you let me know how many you took on and where. That gets added up and the person with the most experience, if they have enough that is, can choose which of the three types they want to level up. I will not list here how much experience each level takes, I will keep a document of it, do not worry. I just want to keep the surprise going like in an actual video game.
