Family Background [at least brief]: He grew up as the middle child in his family in California and has always been close to his two brothers, particularily his older brother named Jayden before he died while in the military. While that hit him hard, he leaned heavily on his friends, becoming distant from his family. His father died when he was very young, he doesn't remember it but keeps his picture with him at all times.
Relationships [who they're connected to, if anyone, and how]: Back in the normal world, he was very close to his small group of friends and his girlfriend named Bree. He also cared deeply about his younger brother and his mom. In this new world, he knows no one.
History [how they got to where/who they are]: Jason grew up in a happy family, although his father's death always loomed in the background. He was always a very popular guy growing up, sociable and he quickly gravitated towards a small group and has stayed close with them since middle school, even falling in love with one girl in the group.
Almost everything was perfect in his eyes but when he was growing up, he had many health issues, particularily with his heart. Feeling like his father was forgotten and didn't get to live the life he wanted, Jason didn't want to make the same mistake and began to get into skydiving and just overall tried to become more memorable of a person. The only person he told about the illness was his older brother, who was his closest friend and the only person who knew Jason completely. When Jason turned 17, his brother joined the military and went to war. Jason recieved the news of Jayden's demise while at graduation and began to drift away from his family more and more, finding little escapes wherever he could. Through the adreneline rushes, through movies or books or games. For his 21st birthday, he recieved a particular game for his birthday...
