Its only suggested to read these. Although they will help with interactions and role playing in a group in general.
---
A. Make sure your character has multiple plot lines... and always keep coming up with more. If one gets a wrench thrown in it then move onto the next, or try to use that wrench to create something new and exciting.
B. There is always a way to win even if it isn't clear, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there... try looking at your problem from different angles and different point of views.
C. Now I know that you can make your character however you want and you will but... try to keep the emo meter from overloading. People can get annoyed with this, people may not want to role play with this character, all I'm saying is that you should try to not over due it... I mean, unless your character just lost their entire family to a bombing of some sort [which isn't all too likely] then they shouldn't be all gloom and doom. Yeah, some depression and fall backs are okay, but be careful to not take it over the top.
D. If you or your character makes a mistake. Its okay. It happens, let it happen. Characters are just like people, they aren't perfect and won't always do the right thing. And hey. Sometime its fun to screw up.
E. No matter what everyone says. Its okay to have SOME Mary Sues, just not too many. If they fallow all the rules then its cool, I mean, its your character, you can do what you want with them [within reason of course]...
F. Be creative. IE. Luke Skywalker's mother was Yoda!
